Aburaj is the tea brand of Hari Om and Aburaj Foods Pvt. Ltd., registered on 9 February 2022 and packed at the RIICO industrial estate in Sheoganj, Sirohi district, at the foot of the Aravallis.
The leaf is high-grown Assam tea with Darjeeling long leaves — that exact phrase is printed on the flagship pouch. Leaves are sourced from established gardens in Assam and Darjeeling, then finished here for the home cup under a FSSAI repacker licence and an ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system.
The name, four years early.
On 27 February 2026, the Government of Rajasthan announced that Mount Abu had been officially renamed Abu Raj, restoring an older heritage name to the hill station that lords over Sirohi district. Aburaj the brand was registered four years before that announcement — the name precedes the rename, but the lineage is the same hill country.
